Lotus Pharmacy provides a free and confidential NHS Contraception Service, making it easier to access contraception and professional advice directly from your local pharmacy without needing a GP appointment. Our trained healthcare professionals can provide: * The combined oral contraceptive pill * The progestogen-only pill (mini pill) * Starting oral contraception for the first time * Continuing your existing contraception and providing repeat supplies * Emergency hormonal contraception (the morning-after pill) * Advice and support to help you use your contraception safely and effectively During a private and confidential consultation, we will discuss your contraceptive needs, medical history and any other relevant information. Where clinically appropriate, we can supply your chosen contraception directly from the pharmacy. If you require emergency contraception following unprotected sex or contraceptive failure, we can also assess your needs and, where suitable, provide emergency hormonal contraception as part of the same NHS service. The consultation and contraception supplied through the service are free of charge. No appointment is necessary – simply visit Lotus Pharmacy and ask for the NHS Contraception Service. If you prefer, you can book an appointment in advance for a time that is convenient for you. All contraception is supplied following an appropriate clinical assessment and is subject to individual suitability and NHS eligibility criteria.
