Lotus Pharmacy offers professional ear health assessments and earwax removal using endoscopic microsuction. Our trained healthcare professionals use specialist equipment to carefully examine the ears and, where appropriate, remove excess earwax with precision and care. Excessive earwax can contribute to symptoms such as blocked ears, reduced hearing, discomfort and tinnitus. Microsuction can help remove the build-up and relieve symptoms associated with impacted earwax. A £20 ear examination fee is payable for an assessment of both ears to check for earwax. If earwax is identified and microsuction is appropriate, we will proceed with the treatment with your consent. The £20 examination fee will be deducted from the cost of the microsuction. Microsuction: £35 for one ear | £55 for both ears If there is no wax, evidence of infection or other ear conditions requiring treatment, microsuction will not be carried out. In this situation, you will receive photographs of your ear canals, which you can share with your GP to support further investigation of your symptoms.
